Helen Perks is a successful Health and Wellness Strategist with a BSc. in Nutritional Medicine, designing tools and helping to implement strategies to empower doctors and patients, so that they can navigate the NHS system effectively and efficiently, saving the NHS time and money, while helping the patient to swiftly seek a root cause resolution to their symptoms.
One of the ways in which Helen supports the doctor-patient relationship is by the patient completing Helen’s Health History Timeline Tutorial, allowing them to identify triggers and mediators.
Helen also supports government food, health, and wellness strategies, by creating innovative initiatives to help with the successful execution of their objectives, such as her latest initiative, Food For Thought: The Ultimate Children’s Pathway to Healthy Eating for Life.
Helen features in ‘The Truly Epic Book of Vegpower’: a collection of recipes and stories including other contributing celebrated chefs such as Jamie Oliver, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, and Michelin starred chefs, aimed at encouraging children to eat healthy.
Helen lives with her husband and dog and has a 31-year-old son. Avid cooks and travellers, they’re always searching for their next culinary adventure, and drawing inspiration from previous trips to countries such as Italy, Switzerland, and Lebanon.
